What Granola is for
Granola’s public positioning is a notepad, not a bot that joins the call. It captures audio on your device, expands the notes you type, and describes deleting that audio after transcription so there is no recording to replay. People choose it when they do not want a bot in the meeting.
The output is enhanced notes. That is a different job from a board of open commitments. MinutesLoop also does not put a bot in the call. It starts when you confirm the actions in the notes.
Where follow-up is a different product
Enhanced notes are still a document of one meeting unless you carry the open rows forward yourself. If the notes are good, paste them into the action item extractor or the minutes generator, then confirm owners and dates.
Use Granola for the notes you want to keep writing by hand. Use a rolling action log or MinutesLoop so those notes are not the only place the work lives.
A practical way to use both
After the meeting, generate minutes or pull action items with the free tools, fix names and dates, and send one follow-up email. Put anything still open on the rolling action log before you close the laptop.
When that log is the thing the next meeting reconstructs from memory, move it into MinutesLoop. Pricing is on the pricing page. The notetaker can stay.
