What tl;dv is for
tl;dv (often searched as tldv) records meetings and is marketed around summaries, shareable clips, and sales workflows such as CRM updates and follow-up. Clips are for showing a moment to someone who was not on the call. That is a real need in sales and customer calls.
An internal forum about hiring, delivery, or operations rarely needs a clip. It needs the decisions and the named next steps. MinutesLoop is aimed at that second room.
Where follow-up is a different product
Sales follow-up in a CRM and internal action tracking are both “follow-up,” and they are not the same list. Do not force a sales clip library to be the system of record for who owes the pricing FAQ.
Keep tl;dv on customer calls if clips and CRM updates are the point. For the team’s own recurring meetings, use a rolling action log and, when you want acknowledgement and Desks, MinutesLoop.
A practical way to use both
After the meeting, generate minutes or pull action items with the free tools, fix names and dates, and send one follow-up email. Put anything still open on the rolling action log before you close the laptop.
When that log is the thing the next meeting reconstructs from memory, move it into MinutesLoop. Pricing is on the pricing page. The notetaker can stay.
